We finally had our Youth Exchange in Padova, Italy, on the weekend of 18-20 March.
What is a Youth Exchange?
It is a mobility programme for young people aged between 16 and 30 years old to explore different topics such as: intercultural dialogue, equal opportunities, environmental protection, sharing, etc.
Youth Exchanges arise from the need of youth organisations and informal groups of young people to deal with a relevant topic that can transmit values through learning by doing.

THE PROJECT
The Erasmus+ KA3 project “European Youth on Stage – EyoS” experimented activities, techniques and tools related to artistic-cultural languages.
The aim was to contribute to the EU strategic objective: “Active information and communication to young people, formulated in their own language, so that they understand the functioning of Europe and the policies that concern them”.
In fact, the project aims at stimulating young people to deepen and rethink in particular the European youth goals.
A total of 54 boys and girls aged between 14 and 30 took part directly in the project, representing 6 European countries
representatives (Slovenia, Croatia, Portugal, Germany, Sweden, Italy).
Our Youth Exchange
The boys and girls from the 6 countries met in Padua to share and compare their project experiences 💪💥
They were immediately enthusiastic and curious to get to know different cultures and young people from other parts of the world.
Saturday’s event at the Centro Culturale San Gaetano was a great success.
The group of 40 people was led by Eros Papadakis, from the Abraxas theatre association, who with various activities and indications guided us through a path combining art and European policies.
The boys and the girls enjoyed the experience so much that they clamoured to continue the project in the following years.
Three days of sharing and feeling like citizens not only of Europe but of the whole world 🌐.
