DYPALL Network - European Youth Goals

The “European Youth on Stage: Engage, connect, empower the future of Europe” project started in January 2020, in partnership with six different organizations based in Croatia, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Slovenia, aiming to connect
underrepresented youth with the European Union.
The key objectives of this KA3 project are to create networking, mutual engagement and solidarity between youngsters with a non-formal, peer-to-peer approach, in order to raise awareness of the European Union and its values and to promote effective engagement of under-represented groups of youth with fewer opportunities of participation and civic actions.

It also aims to promote digital multimedia and civic/social theatre as universal tools of communication to increase active and creative engagement of different young people on EU issues, fostering and increasing skills, attitudes and mutual cooperation among youngsters, who became more aware and with more critical knowledge about EU Youth Goals, Youth Agenda and main EU youth policies.
In order to reach these objectives, DYPALL Network, with the support of the local municipality of Portimão, Portugal, gathered eight young people (12-19 y.o.), with Portuguese and Brazilian nationalities. These youngsters took part in six specific sessions aimed to explore the European Youth Goals where they had the opportunity to discuss the different topics, increasing dialogue and awareness about the EU.

Furthermore, they had the chance to plan and rehearse their artistic performance, choosing four of the European Youth Goals most in line with their values. Thanks to the dance and theatre skills of our artists, we managed to record and create a docufilm, in which we explore the impressions and outcomes of the project at the local level, and the final performance, that you will be able to find on the EYoS YouTube Channel.
